Compact, enveloping and remarkably comfortable, the Ploum Sofa<\/strong> small model with high backrest by Ligne Roset<\/span><\/span><\/strong> embodies a new vision of contemporary seating. Designed by French designers Ronan Bouroullec<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and Erwan Bouroullec<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, this iconic sofa is the result of extensive research into comfort and ergonomics.<\/p>\n

The concept behind the Ploum sofa is based on the innovative combination of two complementary materials<\/strong>: an extremely flexible stretch upholstery fabric<\/a> and ultra-soft high-resilience polyurethane foam. This pairing allows the fabric to perfectly follow the sofa\u2019s organic curves while delivering exceptional softness and comfort.<\/p>\n

In this compact version with a high backrest<\/strong>, the Ploum retains the generous and sculptural identity of the collection while adapting perfectly to more compact interiors. The higher backrest provides additional support for the head and shoulders, enhancing the enveloping feeling that defines the model.<\/p>\n

As with the other versions in the collection, the designers introduced a subtle asymmetry<\/strong> into the structure. The right-hand backrest is slightly higher than the left, while the right-hand seat is slightly deeper.
