The designer Marie Michielssen has created a collection of particularly practical objects for the Belgian brand Serax: the Pawns, which serve the dual purpose of side tables and stools. Made of glazed stoneware, the Pawns form an eclectic ensemble of geometric shapes, materials, and rich, deep colors. The addition of horizontal or vertical grooves on certain models makes these Pawns visually appealing while also providing an easy grip for moving them around.
