The Bellatrix wall lamp by Catellani & Smith is a striking lighting piece inspired by the star of the same name in the Orion constellation. Featuring a 120 cm diameter golden disc, this handcrafted creation becomes a true wall-mounted work of art, blending celestial design with exceptional Italian craftsmanship.

Each Bellatrix wall light is meticulously handmade. The aluminium disc, with its irregular surface, is entirely covered in hand-applied gold leaf. Two distinct patterns are available: radial lines extending from the center outward, evoking sun rays (model A), or flowing centrifugal curves reminiscent of light waves (model B). The back of the disc is painted in a deep blue tone, creating a refined and elegant contrast.

At the center, nine integrated LED modules are housed within a slender 10 mm brass rod, delivering a warm white light (2700K) with a luminous output of 420 lumens. This rod is mounted on a flexible brass arm, allowing precise light orientation. The indirect lighting enhances the textured gold surface, creating a warm, atmospheric glow.
