The LED lighting fixtures from the Light Stick collection by Catellani & Smith use slender and elegant brass rods as reflectors, which almost “disappear” when the lamps are turned on. The collection includes wall sconces and ceiling lights of various lengths, a floor lamp, a table lamp, and a wall fixture. The ultra-minimalist design of the Light Sticks collection was made possible by using LED diodes integrated directly into the thin copper rods. The light is directed in one direction, providing indirect illumination. The lamps themselves are nearly invisible, while the light is prominently featured. In the Floor version, this copper rod is available in matte black, nickel, or satin gold finishes.
