Designer Marie Michielssen has created a collection of particularly practical objects for the Belgian brand Serax called Pawns, which serve the dual function of side table and stool. Made from glazed stoneware, the Pawns form an eclectic set of geometric shapes with rich, deep materials and colors. The addition of horizontal or vertical grooves on certain models makes these Pawns aesthetically appealing while providing a grip for easy movement.
