The Stedelijk Chair — the first seating piece designed by Sabine Marcelis for BD Barcelona — was originally created for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
Entirely made of aluminium, it embodies a perfect balance between sculptural presence and functional simplicity.

Its continuous silhouette flows seamlessly from the ground to the backrest, forming a single, fluid line. The brushed aluminium finish, protected with a Teflon coating, enhances the material’s soft glow and tactile precision.
