The Togo bench (large) by Ligne Roset, designed by Michel Ducaroy, extends the iconic Togo seating system into a compact, sculptural two‑seat module. Celebrated for its distinctive design and unrivaled comfort, Togo continues to redefine contemporary lounge furniture.
Constructed entirely from multi‑density polyurethane foams without a rigid internal frame, the Togo bench offers a deep, inviting seat that cradles the body. Its signature horizontal seams and soft, organic contours give it a sculptural yet dynamic aesthetic, perfectly suited for both modern residential interiors and high-end lounge or contract spaces.
Compact but generous, the Togo bench works beautifully on its own as a statement piece, or combined with other Togo elements to create a customized seating arrangement. Its versatility, comfort, and iconic design make it a timeless piece of contemporary French design.

nternal Structure
Polyurethane foams of different densities, with no rigid frame:
Seat and back areas in high-density foam for long-lasting support
Densities carefully selected to combine soft comfort with firm support
Additional filling: foam and polyester fibers for enveloping comfort
Designed without a rigid wood or metal frame → comfort is entirely achieved through the padding materials
Upholstery
Premium fabric available in several qualities and color palettes
Leather (optional) available in full-grain or semi-aniline versions for a more luxurious finish
INTERNAL STRUCTURE
Entirely made of three different foam densities: polyether 21 kg/m³ – 3.2 kPa, polyether 28 kg/m³ – 4.8 kPa, and high-resilience polyurethane 26 kg/m³ – 1.4 kPa.
SEAMS / COVER
Removable cover (by an upholsterer). Generously quilted with polyester wadding, both in layers and oversized for a plush feel.
COMFORT
Foam elasticity enhanced by button threads. Soft yet supportive comfort with a particularly enveloping angle.
HARMONY
Plain or patterned fabrics are suitable. Canvas and leather recommended.
QUALITY
Top-quality polyether foams. Extensive use of polyester wadding for lasting comfort and structure.
