Wa Wa T is a table lamp by Catellani & Smith, offering original and modern lighting. Equipped with three LED lenses and adjustable arms, Wa Wa allows the creation of unique light halos, giving you the impression of composing an artwork. A dimmer switch is integrated into the power cable for easy light adjustment. The lamp is available in two finishes: brass or nickel. Regarding the name chosen for this lamp, Enzo Catellani explains: “I was at the Frankfurt fair, where I was presenting the new collection born from the use of LED circuits. At one point, I saw a Japanese lady pointing at one of my lamps, repeatedly saying ‘wa wa.’ I approached her, and, intrigued, I asked her about the meaning of these words. She explained that ‘wa’ meant ‘perfect.’ I thanked her emotionally, looked at the lamp, which I had not yet named. And that’s how Wa Wa was born.”
