Designed by Josep Aregall for Parachilna, the Alta Costura floor lamp is an iconic piece that blurs the boundary between lighting design and textile craftsmanship.

Inspired by the world of haute couture, its sculptural silhouette is formed by a delicately folded diffuser that wraps around a slender steel structure. The material tension between the rigid frame and the fluid surface creates a striking visual rhythm, evoking the gesture of tailoring in motion.

The diffuser, made from PVC-coated paper, is carefully assembled and “buttoned” into place, echoing the meticulous process of garment construction. This artisanal approach gives the lamp a unique identity, both architectural and organic.
